Eastern Samar, Leyte, Samar under community quarantine to curb COVID-19

Eastern Samar, Leyte, Samar, and Tacloban City have implemented community quarantine measures starting March 22 or earlier to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Eastern Samar's quarantine will last until April 12, while Samar's is set for up to April 15 but may be extended.

Tacloban City's quarantine runs from March 21 to April 12 and restricts travel except for essential services and health workers.

Leyte's quarantine began on March 18 until at least April 17, with similar restrictions including border control and self-quarantine requirements for returning residents.
