Cities start CBD disinfections amid COVID-19 threat

Zamboanga City and Pagadian City have begun disinfecting their CBDs and public areas amid the threat of COVID-19.

In Zamboanga City, six teams from the city health office are conducting disinfection as part of an enhanced community quarantine that took effect on Friday morning.

There are currently 16 patients under investigation and 340 persons under monitoring for COVID-19 in Zamboanga City.

Pagadian City is focusing its efforts on public markets, bus terminals, and other public places using fire trucks and farm sprayers.

Cabanatuan City has also started city-wide disinfection, including schools, churches, and major public markets like the Sangitan Public Market which will be disinfected on Friday.
