Letran beats Arellano 86-79 in NCAA men's basketball

Colegio de San Juan de Letran secured a comeback victory against Arellano University with a score of 86-79 in the NCAA Season 100 men's basketball game on Tuesday at the Filoil EcoOil Arena.

Pao Javillonar, making his NCAA 100 debut after serving a two-game suspension, led the Knights with 28 points, eight rebounds, two steals and two blocks.

Letran trailed by as many as 13 points in the second half but rallied back thanks to contributions from rookies Jimbo Estrada and Jace Miller, who scored 14 and 11 points respectively.

Head coach Allen Ricardo praised his team's composure and execution during their comeback, emphasizing the importance of trust and perseverance in overcoming deficits.

Despite Letran's strong start at 2-1, Coach Ricardo stressed that the season is long, and the team will focus on improving consistently game by game.
