Speaker Romualdez, Pres. Marcos Jr. endorse PHP150M, 51K food packs for Davao floods

Speaker Ferdinand Romualdez and President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. have endorsed PHP150 million in cash aid and 51,000 food packs to assist flood victims in the Davao Region.

Romualdez's office and Tingog party-list representatives have sent 21,000 food packs using personal funds, while an additional 30,000 food packs were requested from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Lawmakers from Davao region expressed gratitude for Romualdez’s efforts in providing immediate aid to flood victims.

The endorsement reflects the Marcos administration's 'Bagong Pilipinas' campaign, emphasizing meaningful action over political rhetoric to support those affected by flooding and landslides.

Representatives highlighted that this assistance brings the government closer to the people, providing much-needed relief for constituents suffering from flood impacts.
