Eya Laure earns PVL Player of the Week for second straight week

Eya Laure of Chery Tiggo earned her second consecutive Player of the Week honor for April 16-20 in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.

Laure contributed nine attacks, three blocks, and seven excellent digs against PLDT on Tuesday, followed by another strong performance with 14 points including two aces against Akari Chargers on Saturday.

Chery Tiggo shares the lead with Petro Gazz, Creamline, and Choco Mucho at 8-2 but needs one more win to secure the last semifinal spot.

Laure credits her coach Kungfu Reyes for his guidance and support in helping her maintain confidence and performance.

With their semifinals hopes at stake, Laure led Chery Tiggo to victories over PLDT and Akari Chargers, securing a crucial position in the tight semis race with identical 8-2 win-loss records.
