Leni Robredo endorses Kiko Pangilinan and Bam Aquino for Senate in Cavite rally

Former VP Leni Robredo endorsed the Senate bids of her allies, former senator Kiko Pangilinan and Senate hopeful Bam Aquino, at a rally in Dasmariñas, Cavite on Tuesday, February 11.

The event drew thousands of supporters and was seen as crucial given Region 4A's status as the country’s top vote-rich region; Dasmariñas alone has the highest number of registered voters among political subdivisions in Cavite, which is the province with the second-highest number of voters nationwide.

Pangilinan urged supporters to reach out to non-supporters and expand their ranks, while Aquino told media not to label them as opposition but rather independents.

Both candidates are banking on Robredo's influence to boost their campaigns; Pangilinan is running under the Liberal Party’s banner, while Aquino has a newly formed party called Katipunan ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino.
