Kazakhstan beats Singapore in Asian Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup

Kazakhstan secured a decisive victory over Singapore in the Asian Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup on Wednesday at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum in Manila.

Katrina Belova and Sana Anarkulova led Kazakhstan with 15 and 13 points, respectively, contributing to their quick win by scores of 25-15, 25-9, and 25-17.

Kazakhstan, ranked 44th in the world, aims for a ticket to the Women's Challenger Cup hosted by the Philippines from July 4-7 at Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Alas Pilipinas will face Australia in the main game of Thursday's four-game schedule as they look to impress their home crowd and secure another slot in the Women's Challenger Cup.

The Filipino team, coached by Jorge Souze de Brito, includes veterans like Sisi Rondina and Cherry Nunag alongside emerging stars and collegiate players.
