Jose Rizal beats Emilio Aguinaldo in NCAA volleyball, 3-0

Jose Rizal University secured its first victory in the NCAA Season 99 women's volleyball tournament by defeating Emilio Aguinaldo College with a score of 25-20, 25-20, 25-23 on Wednesday.

Inday Laurente played a crucial role as setter for Jose Rizal University, providing 13 excellent sets to distribute the ball effectively.

Karyla Jasareno led the team with 13 points, while coach Mia Tioseco expressed her excitement over the victory and emphasized the importance of younger players competing effectively during games.

Tioseco noted that the win breathed life into their Final Four bid after losing to Perpetual Help on Sunday.

Catherine Almazan scored 16 points for Emilio Aguinaldo College but could not prevent her team from dropping to 0-2 in the tournament.
