Prado wins all three Women Elite golds at PhilCycling Championships

Jermyn Prado dominated the Elite Road Race at the recent PhilCycling National Championships for Road, securing all three Women Elite gold medals.

Marcelo Felipe, aged 35 and having celebrated his birthday on February 10, also excelled by winning the Men Elite Road race with an average speed of 43 kph, finishing ahead of Jericho Lucero by two seconds and Jeremy Lizardo by four seconds.

Prado attributed her success to consistent training and dedication, emphasizing the importance of faith in her achievements, noting that she has been relentless in training but credits everything to 'the One above'.

In the 88-km road race, Prado finished with a time of two hours, 39 minutes, and 28.17 seconds, followed closely by Maritoni Krogg for silver and Kate Yasmin Aquino for bronze.

Kim Bonilla won the Women Under-23 road race gold medal, while Felipe secured his victory in the grueling 215-km race.
