Jack Animam questions SEA Games' essence with use of naturalized players

Filipina basketball player Jack Animam questioned the essence of the Southeast Asian Games after seeing multiple naturalized players competing for Cambodia in 3x3 men's and women's basketball.

Cambodia won gold in the men's event and fourth place in the women's event, both with predominantly foreign players.

Animam expressed that fielding teams mostly composed of naturalized players defeats the purpose of showcasing what participating nations have to offer.
