Gilas Pilipinas Women suffered their first loss in the SEA Games to Indonesia, jeopardizing their bid for a third consecutive gold medal.

Despite the setback, head coach Patrick Aquino vowed that the team would keep fighting until the end of the competition.

In their next game against Vietnam, Gilas bounced back with a convincing 116-58 victory, with Khate Castillo leading the way with 22 points and five other players scoring in double digits.
