Aquino satisfied with Gilas Women's silver finish in SEA Games 3x3

Gilas Pilipinas Women's head coach Pat Aquino expressed satisfaction with their silver medal finish in the 3×3 basketball event of the Southeast Asian Games on Sunday, May 7.

Despite losing to Vietnam in the final match, Gilas improved from their fourth-place finish last year in Hanoi.

The team secured a spot in the finals after dramatic wins against Cambodia and Thailand, with Afril Bernardino hitting a game-winning shot against Cambodia.

Gilas Women had initially lost to Vietnam but bounced back to win two consecutive matches before reaching the semifinals.
