PAGASA forecasts isolated rainshowers across country

PAGASA forecasts partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms across the country.

The weather conditions are due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and warm winds from the Pacific Ocean called Easterlies.

Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected in specific areas such as Tarlac, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Cavite, Laguna, Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Zambales, and Quezon over the next two hours.

PAGASA warns against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
