PAGASA forecasts isolated rainshowers across country

PAGASA forecasts isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms across the country on Saturday.

Metro Manila and other parts of the Philippines will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, known as Easterlies, are prevailing over the country.

PAGASA issued a thunderstorm advisory warning moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds in Metro Manila, Tarlac, Bulacan, Quezon, Laguna, Bataan, and Pampanga within two hours on Saturday.

On Friday, PAGASA predicted scattered showers and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Visayas, and Mindanao due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone, with possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains.
