Mindanao gets cloudy skies with rain showers due to ITCZ

According to PAGASA's Saturday afternoon forecast, Mindanao will experience cloudy skies and rain showers due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) in the next 24 hours.

The Davao Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Sultan Kudarat, Lanao del Norte, Sarangani, and Surigao del Sur are expected to have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms, while the rest of Mindanao will see partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Batanes and Babuyan Islands due to the shear line, while the easterlies will influence the rest of the country.

Moderate winds and coastal waters are expected in Northern Luzon, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters are anticipated elsewhere.
