DOH: Typhoon responders exempt from COVID tests

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III stated that typhoon responders do not need Covid-19 tests if they are asymptomatic and have no history of exposure to confirmed or probable cases.

Duque emphasized the importance of assigning safety officers in evacuation centers to ensure adherence to health protocols against the virus.

The DOH reminded LGUs to strictly impose health measures, including monitoring for symptoms and maintaining physical distancing, to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in evacuation sites.
