Imee Marcos unsure if still in admin senatorial ticket

Senator Imee Marcos and Representative Camille Villar were notably absent as President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. campaigned for 11 senatorial candidates under the banner of Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas in Laguna on Saturday, March 22.

During his campaign rally, President Marcos did not mention Senator Marcos's name or Representative Villar, who was present but not acknowledged.

In an interview Sunday, Senator Marcos said she is unsure if she is still included in the administration’s senatorial ticket and has yet to talk to her brother about it.

She emphasized that addressing issues related to national sovereignty takes precedence over political campaigning and expressed no resentment towards her brother for omitting her name at previous campaign events.

Senator Marcos also clarified that she has not officially withdrawn from the Alyansa slate but is now focused on her Senate investigation into the arrest of former president Rodrigo Duterte.
