NP confirms Camille Villar in ticket, respects Imee Marcos' choice

The Nacionalista Party (NP) remains a member of the Alyansa Para Sa Bagong Pilipinas, with Navotas Representative Toby Tiangco confirming that Las Piñas City lone district Rep. Camille Villar is still part of the senatorial ticket.

Questions about NP's membership in Alyansa arose after Villar missed several rallies due to her family's stance on former President Rodrigo Duterte's arrest by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Camille Villar attended an Alyansa meeting last night, confirming her and her party’s continued involvement in the alliance despite previous absences.

Senators Cynthia and Manny Villar, as well as Senator Mark Villar, have expressed support for trying Duterte in the Philippines rather than at the ICC.

Regarding Imee Marcos, another NP candidate who has chosen not to attend Alyansa rallies due to her public criticism of Duterte's arrest, Tiangco respects her decision while emphasizing that all senatorial candidates are experienced and capable leaders supporting the administration’s projects.
