Ilocos gets Pfizer bivalent vax for health workers, seniors

The Ilocos Region has received 23,460 doses of Pfizer's bivalent COVID-19 vaccine to be used as a third booster shot for healthcare workers and elderly residents.

Healthcare workers and individuals aged 18 years or older who are part of priority groups A1 (healthcare workers) and A2 (senior citizens), at least four months after their second booster dose, will receive the bivalent vaccine.

The phased rollout prioritizes these groups with the vaccine being distributed to 12 hospitals across the region, including five DOH-retained hospitals.
