Herbosa: Bivalent vaccine effective vs. Omicron FE.1

Health Secretary Ted Herbosa said Wednesday that bivalent COVID-19 vaccines remain effective against the Omicron FE.1 subvariant.

Dr. Rontgene Solante, president of the Philippine College of Physicians, noted Tuesday that while there is no specific data on bivalent vaccines' effectiveness against FE.1, they provide substantial protection and are beneficial for vulnerable populations.
