Duterte: NPA can get free COVID-19 vaccines if they stop fighting

President Rodrigo Duterte stated that members of the New People's Army (NPA) can receive free COVID-19 vaccines if they cease hostilities.

Duterte emphasized that NPA members must show up unarmed to receive the vaccine and urged the military and police to be accommodating in this regard.

He clarified that this is not a unilateral ceasefire but an opportunity for rebels to get vaccinated without engaging in combat.
