Covid-19 admissions drop in Bacolod

Covid-19 hospital admissions in Bacolod City have steadily decreased over the past several weeks.

On Tuesday night, the city's Emergency Operations Center reported a 55.43% capacity utilization rate across seven hospitals, down from 58.51% the previous day.

Dr. Hector Gayares noted that of the 197 available beds, only 115 are occupied by patients, with 51 cases from Bacolod and 64 from other parts of Negros Occidental.

The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF)-Visayas chief implementer confirmed that cases have dropped to an average of 25 per day in the first two weeks of October, down from 50 cases daily in late September.
