IATF expands alert level system to 3 regions, adds Baguio

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases expanded the pilot alert level system to include Central Luzon, Western Visayas, and Northern Mindanao starting November 1.

Baguio City was also added as an area for special monitoring.

Metro Manila will remain under Alert Level 3 until November 14 despite a decrease in new COVID-19 cases, as the government approved gradual increases in public transportation to up to 100% starting November 4.

At least 25 provinces and cities outside Metro Manila have been added to the alert level system from November 1 to 14.
