IATF raises religious gathering capacity to 30%

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) has increased the capacity limit for religious gatherings in Metro Manila and NCR Plus areas to 30%.

Prior to this decision, religious services were limited to a maximum of 10% venue capacity.

The easing of restrictions comes amid a gradual decrease in new daily COVID-19 cases, although current numbers still hover around the 5,000s.

Metro Manila mayors will decide whether to implement the full 30% or a lower limit for specific venues.
