House excuses Whirlwind Corp stakeholder for health reasons

Whirlwind Corporation stakeholder Katherine Cassandra Li Ong was excused from House of Representatives quad-committee hearings after her blood pressure dropped to dangerously low levels on Wednesday.

Medical staff attended to Ong, who experienced hypotension and very low blood sugar during the hearing, leading to a current blood pressure reading of 80/40 and a previous one of 70/40.

House physician Dr. Jose Luis Bautista recommended bringing Ong to the hospital immediately for proper diagnosis and treatment due to her unstable condition.

Lawmakers agreed with the recommendation and temporarily excused Ong from further testimony, emphasizing humanitarian concerns.

Ong had earlier testified about her top boss, Duanren Wu, who she claimed was a former Chinese police officer before entering business.

Lawmakers criticized Ong for refusing to answer questions and reneging on commitments to sign a bank secrecy waiver and participate in an executive session.

Lawmakers believe Ong's testimony is crucial to establish that Whirlwind Corporation and Lucky South 99 are the same company.
