Rep Quimbo files P108-B stimulus bill vs COVID-19

Marikina Representative Stella Luz A. Quimbo filed House Bill 6606 seeking P108 billion for a stimulus package to address the economic impact of COVID-19.

The bill allocates P43 billion for tourism, P15 billion for displaced workers, and P50 billion for business assistance including loans and subsidies.

Quimbo cited potential revenue losses of PHP91 billion and GDP reduction of 0.3 to 1% if the outbreak continues until June.
