Heart Evangelista, Chiz Escudero make grand entrance before Marcos' SONA

Heart Evangelista and Senate President Chiz Escudero made a grand entrance at the Third Regular Session of the 19th Congress on Monday morning ahead of President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr.'s third State of the Nation Address (SONA).

Following the SONA, Heart posted an Instagram message expressing pride in her husband and assuring him of her support.

Heart wore a backless modern Filipiniana by Michael Leyva for both the red carpet event and earlier Senate opening session, accompanied by Chiz's twins Chesi and Quino as well as her sister Cam Ongpauco.

Escudero opted for a traditional barong with a Philippine flag pin during their appearances.

President Marcos is set to deliver his SONA at 4 p.m., addressing pressing issues such as the escalating conflict in the West Philippine Sea, leading Manila to lodge diplomatic protests against China and hold bilateral meetings to address regional disputes.
