PH health workers with COVID-19 reach 2,336

As of Thursday, May 21, the number of health workers infected with COVID-19 in the Philippines reached 2,336.

The Department of Health (DOH) reported an increase of 21 new cases since the last update on May 18.

At least 1,086 health workers have recovered from the virus, while 1,219 are active cases with 895 mild and 322 asymptomatic cases.

The DOH has revised the death toll among health workers to 31 after removing retired personnel who were no longer in active duty.

There were no new deaths reported among health workers on May 22.
