DOH confirms fifth coronavirus case in Caraga

The Department of Health in Caraga (DOH-13) confirmed the fifth coronavirus case in the region on May 25.

The patient is a 65-year-old male from Agusan del Norte who tested positive for antibodies but has no symptoms and was quarantined upon return from Manila in February.

Contact tracing is underway to identify individuals with whom he had close contact, who will be tested and monitored.

DOH-13 also reported negative results for 46 samples including the second follow-up test of the fourth patient, close contacts, suspect cases, probable cases, and RAT positive cases from local hospitals.

The region has three recovered patients, with a total of five probable cases and 102 suspect cases as of May 25.
