Pangasinan's COVID-19 recovery rate at 78%

The recovery rate for individuals infected with COVID-19 in Pangasinan has reached 78%, based on figures from the Provincial Health Office (PHO).

As of January 14, Pangasinan recorded three more recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,559 out of 3,333 confirmed cases.

The PHO chief, Dr. Anna Ma Teresa de Guzman, noted that most deaths are among vulnerable groups with pre-existing conditions like hypertension and diabetes.

De Guzman emphasized stricter measures for individuals with respiratory tract infections to prevent the spread of new variants, including enhanced questioning about travel history.
