DoH includes prisoners in vaccine priority list

Prisoners are included in the government's priority groups for coronavirus vaccine recipients.

Kapatid, a group representing families of political prisoners, has requested that inmates be prioritized due to crowded conditions and high risk.

Department of Health (DoH) assured that all consenting Filipinos will be vaccinated, including political prisoners.

Kapatid emphasized the need to vaccinate elderly inmates and those with grave illnesses to control sickness and death inside prisons.
