Gov't shifts to ECQ or GCQ with Alert Levels

The government will implement only two quarantine classifications, either ECQ or GCQ, during the pilot implementation of the alert level system for COVID-19 response in Metro Manila.

Under this new policy, activities allowed under GCQ will depend on the specific alert level assigned to each city or municipality within Metro Manila.

Alert Level 4, the highest risk classification, prohibits dine-in services, personal services, and mass gatherings.
