19,466 OFWs repatriated since start of ECQ

As of Saturday, the DFA reported that 19,466 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) have been repatriated since the start of the enhanced community quarantine.

Of these, 15,130 are seafarers from 75 cruise ships and 4,336 are land-based OFWs.

DFA Undersecretary Brigido Dulay said more OFWs will be arriving in the coming days.

Seafarers who have completed a 14-day quarantine on uninfected cruise ships can go home directly, while land-based OFWs must complete their quarantine at designated facilities.
