Gov't cuts National Vaccination Days target to 9M

The National Task Force Against Covid-19 and the National Vaccination Operations Center adjusted their target for the three-day National Vaccination Days from 15 million to nine million doses due to a shortage of syringes and logistical challenges.

Local chief executives and resource management teams were consulted in setting this new daily target of three million doses from November 29 to December 1.

To meet the year-end goal of fully vaccinating 54 million Filipinos, another three-day inoculation drive is scheduled for December 15 to 17.
