Gonzales optimistic despite FEU's playoff elimination

Despite Far Eastern University's loss to the University of the Philippines in the UAAP Season 86 men’s basketball tournament, LJay Gonzales remains optimistic and focused on finishing strong.

Gonzales scored a game-high 20 points but struggled with his shooting accuracy, hitting only seven out of twenty-two field goals.

The graduating guard expressed disappointment over the team's failure to secure a Final Four spot for the second consecutive year, acknowledging the challenges faced this season including numerous injuries.
