UP clinches Final Four spot with win over UE

The University of the Philippines men's basketball team secured a spot in the UAAP Season 86 Final Four with a 79-72 victory over the University of the East on Wednesday.

Malick Diouf led UP with a double-double of 19 points and 15 rebounds, along with five steals and two assists, while CJ Cansino added 17 points.

UE's Jack Cruz-Dumont scored 19 points but it was not enough to prevent UE from falling to 4-7 in the standings.
