GMA Kapuso Foundation aids over 6,000 Florita victims in Cagayan, Isabela

The GMA Kapuso Foundation provided aid to over 6,000 residents affected by Severe Tropical Storm Florita in Cagayan and Isabela.

In Baggao, Cagayan, around 4,800 individuals received relief goods, including rice and corn farmers who lost their crops.

The foundation also conducted a feeding program for 500 people in Barangay San Isidro and Barsat East and West.

In Isabela, about 1,200 residents from barangays Fely and Minanga received help via the Philippine Air Force’s chopper due to difficult access by road.

Farmers like Marineth Bonifacio lost their harvest and expressed fear of future storms after experiencing Supertyphoon Juan in 2010.
