Tim Cone criticizes Gilas Pilipinas' Doha performance, calls it 'disappointing'

Gilas secured only one narrow victory against Qatar but suffered convincing losses against Lebanon (54-75) and Egypt (55-86), leading Cone to describe their performance as 'disappointing'.

However, Cone stressed that these friendlies were part of the preparation process and not crucial for their main quest at the FIBA Asia Cup.

The team returned briefly to Manila before heading to Chinese Taipei for the next challenge in the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers, aiming to secure a fifth win against the Taiwanese team on Thursday night.
