Gatchalian, Binay self-quarantine after Senate hearing COVID-19 case

Sen[ator] Sherwin Gatchalian and Sen[ator] Nancy Binay are self-quarantining after learning that a resource person who attended a recent Senate committee hearing on basic education tested positive for COVID-19.

Gatchalian interacted with the infected individual during the March 5 hearing and had another meeting with them on February 27.

Both senators instructed their staff to also self-quarantine as a precaution.

Bianca Manalo, Gatchalian's girlfriend, is also undergoing self-quarantine after being exposed to the situation.
