4 Cabinet officials test negative for COVID-19

At least four Cabinet officials in the Philippines have tested negative for COVID-19.

The officials, including Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III, Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade, and Public Works Secretary Mark Villar, are continuing their 14-day self-quarantine as a precautionary measure.

Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo confirmed that Transport Secretary Arthur Tugade and PSG Commander Col. Jesus Durante III also tested negative for the virus but will continue to perform their duties.

Finance Assistant Secretary Tony Lambino added that Finance Secretary Dominguez's test results were also negative.
