Government studies 15-20 day lockdown extension

The government is studying the possibility of extending Luzon's enhanced community quarantine by 15 to 20 days beyond its initial end date on April 12.

NTF COVID-19 chief implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr said scientists and doctors are examining reference models from other countries to flatten the curve of the virus spread.

Many Filipinos support extending the lockdown but emphasize the need for more assistance for vulnerable communities during this period.
