Tots Carlos, Jema Galanza, Bella Belen, Alyssa Solomon join Alas Pilipinas for FIVB Challenger Cup

Creamline stars Tots Carlos and Jema Galanza, along with National University standouts Bella Belen and Alyssa Solomon, have joined the Alas Pilipinas practice pool ahead of the FIVB Challenger Cup scheduled from July 4 to 7 at Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

National team head coach Jorge de Brito confirmed that while Carlos is still undergoing rehabilitation due to a minor injury, Galanza, Belen, and Solomon are now training with the squad as they prepare for their upcoming match against Vietnam in the Challenger Cup quarterfinals.

The current roster includes PVL MVPs Jia De Guzman, Sisi Rondina, Eya Laure, along with other key players such as Angel Canino and Dawn Macandili-Catindig who will lead Alas Pilipinas in the tournament following their bronze medal win at the AVC Challenge Cup.

Belen and Solomon were part of the original pool but missed the AVC Challenge Cup due to fatigue after winning the UAAP Season 86 title for NU, while Galanza recently led Creamline to an All-Filipino title and won Finals MVP honors.

Alas Pilipinas aims to build on their historic bronze medal win in the AVC Challenge Cup and will face Vietnam next month as a victory would secure qualification for the Volleyball Nations League.
