IATF approves unrestricted movement for agri workers

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) has approved unrestricted movement for agriculture and fisheries workers.

Agriculture Secretary William Dar emphasized that these workers are essential frontliners in maintaining food supply during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dar stated that farmers, fishers, and other food value chain workers will play a crucial role in ensuring continued production and delivery of food to the public.
