First Lady Marcos aids 61 families hit by STS Kristine in Batangas

First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos condoled with the families affected by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine in Talisay, Batangas.

Through her program Libreng Laboratoryo, Konsulta at Gamot Para sa Lahat (LAB for ALL), she distributed aid to 61 families who lost loved ones due to landslides and flooding on October 24.

Each family received a variety of assistance including rice, water, medical kits, groceries, and food packs, with additional support from DigiPlus Interactive and the BingoPlus Foundation, which provided P37 million in financial aid.

First Lady Marcos was joined by officials from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) as well as local government leaders in Batangas for the distribution.

The DSWD emphasized that the government will continue to assist affected citizens until they fully recover, echoing President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s commitment to support them.

DigiPlus Interactive announced plans to provide PHP10,000 cash assistance to each grieving family, complementing the initial aid given by the DSWD.
