First Filipino COVID-19 case in Singapore discharged

The first Filipino diagnosed with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Singapore has recovered and was discharged from the hospital on February 28.

As of Wednesday, there are now two confirmed Filipino cases in Singapore; one is a 41-year-old domestic worker who tested positive on February 29, and another 34-year-old domestic worker whose employer also had COVID-19.

The DFA is coordinating closely with the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Singapore to provide necessary assistance to affected Filipinos.
