UST, FEU-D secure semis spots in UAAP high school boys' hoops

University of Santo Tomas and Far Eastern University-Diliman secured their semifinals spots in the UAAP Season 86 high school boys' basketball tournament with victories over Ateneo de Manila University and La Salle-Zobel respectively on Wednesday.

UST defeated Ateneo by a score of 80-68, while FEU-D won against La Salle-Zobel with an 86-64 margin.

Koji Buenaflor led UST with 21 points, seven rebounds, and three assists in their semifinals-clinching game.

FEU-D's victory was highlighted by a strong third quarter performance from the Tiger Cubs who outscored Ateneo by 32 points.

Adamson University maintained its lead in the league with an impressive 77-62 win over University of the Philippines Integrated School, improving their record to 12-1 and assuring them of a semifinals bonus position.
