Adamson beats UST 80-66 to advance to UAAP boys' basketball finals

Adamson University's boys' basketball team secured their place in the finals of the UAAP Season 86 tournament after defeating University of Santo Tomas with a score of 80-66 on Wednesday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.

Vince Reyes led Adamson with 23 points, 11 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks as they advanced to the championship round for the second consecutive season.

Mark Esperanza contributed 12 points and eight assists while Justine Garcia added 11 points, six assists, and four steals; Earl Medina also chipped in with 11 points, three assists, and three steals.

Adamson took a commanding 37-27 lead at halftime before finishing the game strong under coach Mike Fermin's guidance, who emphasized staying within their game plan throughout the match.

The Baby Falcons will now face either National University Nazareth School or Far Eastern University - Diliman in the finals.
