Adamson secures twice-to-beat in UAAP boys' basketball

Adamson University secured its 11th win this season by defeating De La Salle-Zobel with a score of 74-59 in the UAAP Season 86 boys' basketball game on Sunday, securing a twice-to-beat advantage in the Final 4.

Justine Garcia and JC Bonzalida led Adamson's scoring efforts, each contributing 14 points along with significant contributions in rebounds and assists.

National University continues to dominate with Collins Akowe leading MVP candidate rankings, recording another double-double with 19 points and 20 rebounds in their victory over the University of the Philippines Integrated School.

Adamson's balanced team play, without any player in the league's top 10 scoring list, has been key to their success, as highlighted by head coach Mike Fermin who prepared for a La Salle-Zobel game without standout Kieffer Alas.

Other teams vying for the Final Four include National University (10-2), Far Eastern University-Diliman (7-5), and University of Santo Tomas (7-5).
