FEU-D tops UAAP HS boys' 3x3; Ateneo edges rivals

Far Eastern University-Diliman (Baby Tamaraws) remained the only unbeaten team in the UAAP Season 87 High School Boys' 3x3 Tournament after winning their match against De La Salle-Zobel, 21-16, on Thursday.

Cabs Cabonillas led FEU-D with a game-winning basket and a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds as the team improved to a perfect 4-0 record.

Liam Salangsang and Marc Burgos also contributed seven and four points respectively in securing their top spot position.

Ateneo de Manila University maintained its undefeated status in the junior high school boys' division with identical 3-1 records, improving after victories over National University and University of Santo Tomas.

The Blue Eagles edged the Bullpups, 15-14, behind Ziv Espinas’ seven points and seven rebounds, while Earl Medina scored the game-winning basket in overtime.
