Over 114K vaccinated against COVID-19

As of Thursday, March 11, over 114,000 individuals in the Philippines have received COVID-19 vaccines.

Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque reported that 25,538 people were vaccinated on that day alone.

The total number of vaccine doses deployed stands at 796,950, including both Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines.

There are currently 422 vaccination centers in the country, with 348 conducting vaccinations across 17 regions and 176 local government units on Thursday.

The Philippine FDA recommends Sinovac for clinically healthy individuals aged 18 to 59 but does not recommend it for healthcare workers due to its lower efficacy rate of 50.4% in this group.
